These terms apply to your use of exportapps.com and to services provided by Export Apps ("we", "us") to you ("the client"). When we work together, your signed proposal or statement of work (SOW) sets out the scope, price and timeline. If the SOW and these terms disagree, the SOW wins.
1. Using this website
- The content on this site is for general information. Articles and price ranges are guides, not quotes or professional, legal or financial advice.
- Do not misuse the site: no attempts to hack, overload, scrape at scale, or send spam or malicious code through our forms. We may block access that looks abusive.
- Site content, design and logos belong to Export Apps unless stated otherwise.
2. Proposals and quotes
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Work starts when the SOW is signed and the first payment in our Payment Policy is received.
3. How projects run
- Discovery and scope: we agree features, deliverables and milestones in writing.
- Design and build: you see working progress at regular demos and give feedback.
- Review and acceptance: you have 10 business days after each milestone delivery to report issues. If we hear nothing, the milestone counts as accepted.
- Launch and support: we deploy, hand over and fix defects during the warranty period.
4. Change requests
New features or changes outside the agreed scope are estimated in writing first. Nothing extra is charged until you approve it.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to give timely feedback, content, test data and access to accounts we need, and to confirm you have the rights to any material you provide. Delays on your side can move the timeline.
6. Ownership of work
When you have paid in full, you own the custom source code, designs and documentation created for your project. Until then, we grant you a license to use the work in progress. Open-source libraries and third-party tools stay under their own licenses. We may reuse our general know-how and non-client-specific tools. We may mention you as a client in our portfolio unless you ask us not to in writing.
7. Confidentiality
We keep your business information confidential and are happy to sign an NDA before you share details. Both sides may disclose information only where the law requires.
8. Warranty and support
We fix defects in delivered work, meaning features that do not work as agreed, free of charge for 30 days after launch unless your SOW says otherwise. Ongoing maintenance, hosting, updates and new features are covered by a separate support plan.
9. SEO and marketing results
Search engines and app stores control their own rankings and approvals. We follow their published guidelines and best practice, but we do not guarantee a specific ranking, traffic level, approval or revenue.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with a project is limited to the fees you paid for that project in the 12 months before the claim. Neither side is liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer in the UK, EU or elsewhere.
11. Ending a project
Either side may end a project with 14 days' written notice. You pay for work completed up to the end date, and we hand over everything paid for. Either side may end immediately if the other seriously breaches these terms and does not fix it within 14 days of notice.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. If we process personal data on your behalf (for example, your customers' data), we will sign a data processing agreement where GDPR, UK GDPR or similar laws require one.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, unless your SOW names a different law. This does not remove any mandatory consumer protection you have in your country.
