Payment policy

Clear, milestone-based payments. Last updated: October 4, 2026

How a fixed-price project is paid

  1. Step 130%

    Project start

Paid when the proposal is signed. Reserves your team and covers discovery and design.

  2. Step 230%

    Design approved

Paid when you approve the designs and the build begins.

  3. Step 330%

    Beta delivered

Paid when a working version is ready for your testing.

  4. Step 410%

    Launch

Paid when the project goes live and is handed over.

The exact schedule is written in your proposal and can be adjusted for smaller or larger projects.

2. Invoices and due dates

Invoices are sent by email and are due within 7 days. Work on the next milestone starts once the current invoice is paid. If an invoice is more than 14 days overdue, we may pause work until it is settled. Source code and admin access for paid milestones are always yours.

3. Payment methods and currencies

Bank fees charged by your bank are paid by the sender. We never ask for card details by email or phone, and we never collect payment through our contact form.

4. Taxes

Prices exclude sales tax, VAT or GST/HST. Where tax applies, it is shown on the invoice. UK and EU business clients with a valid VAT number may be invoiced under the reverse-charge rules.

5. Changes to scope

Extra work is quoted in writing and billed only after you approve it, either added to the next milestone or invoiced separately.

6. Refunds and cancellation

Consumers in the UK and EU keep any statutory cancellation rights that apply to them.
